[NEWS] IU to attend as a guest performer for Taeyang’s SOLAR Concert!

IU, being one of Taeyang’s major fangirls, is definitely not unfamiliar news. She has even acted out the role of Taeyang’s lucky back-dancer on a past episode of SBS Heroes, where she got the opportunity to peck his right cheek!
Well, IU is about to get even more lucky. She will be performing as a special guest for her ideal man’s concerts, which will unfold on the 25th and 26th at KyungHee University’s Hall Of Peace.
Actress Yoo In Na, who is signed under YG Entertainment, first heard news floating around about YGE being on a lookout for guest performers for Taeyang’s upcoming concerts. Yoo In Na then passed the news onto IU, who agreed without hesitation.

I wonder if she will perform for both days. It’ll be ironic if she does, seeing how the concert isn’t for minors but she is a minor herself.

 Kim Hyung Jun Meet & Greet In Singapore

As we know, after the Showcase, Maknae also had a Meet & Greet Session. He did autograph signing for the fans. Here's a video clip of the first few minutes of the fanmeet. Thanks LHL! Lee Minho achieves one million fans on Facebook

Talented actor, Lee Minho, was able to achieve something that doesn’t happen often, and that was reaching one million fans on his Facebook page!
To this date, Lee Minho is the first person from South Korea to achieve a total of one million fans on a Facebook page. With his page being open for just f0ur months, the amount of fans gained in such short amount of time is quite remarkable.

Via his official Facebook page, Lee Minho stated the following to his fans:

Hi, this is Min Ho Lee.  Through Facebook, I’ve made about 1 million friends.When I first started Facebook, I didn’t think this many people would visit my page. I started with a small attempt to get to know my fans, but I’m happy that I’ve made so many friends as a result. There are many foreign fans who I don’t get to see often, and so I hope to keep in good contact through Facebook.  Now wait! I will progress with a Facebook 1 million event! SNSD’s YoonA releases ‘Innisfree Day’ song

SNSD’s YoonA has been quite busy lately, not only with Japanese promotions with her fellow members, but also with her duties for cosmetic brand, Innisfree.
The idol recently released a cute and bubbly song for the brand, titled, Innisfree Day, and it shows off her singing skills and lets fans hear something new.
If you recall, YoonA also took part in a CF for the brand, specifically for the Jeju Volcanic Pore Clay Mask back in July.

What will Ga-in think about Jokwon’s attempted kiss with Narsha?

On the most recent episode of MBC’s Quiz That Changes The World, 2AM’s Jokwon and BEG’s Narsha acted out a scene of a husband who handled everything with money.

Showing his acting skills by portraying a tough bad guy, Jokwon grabbed Narsha, who was cleaning, and stated, “How much is it?”,  to which Narsha replied, “147,o00 WON”. Surprisingly, Jokwon made up a cheesy line, stating, “Still, I can’t buy you with money,” and went in for a surprise kiss.

It is obvious that they did not lock lips for real, however, netizens have been making funny comments on the matter, such as, “I never knew Jokwon could be like this,” “What are you gonna do when Ga-in sees this?”, and “Narsha will not be able to make eye-contact with Ga-in now.”

f(x)’s Amber alert: where in the world is she?

Without Amber, does f(x) seem like a shell of its former idol days?

The boyish charisma of Amber has been acutely missed by f(x) fans, many of whom have started to become inquisitive about her absence from the group’s public appearances.  Amber was forced to withdraw prematurely from the NU ABO promotions due to an injury, yet she was scheduled to return in time for the SMTOWN LIVE ’10 event on the 21^st. The event came and went, as did a promotional photoshoot with f(x) fans, but Amber was nowhere to be found.
Last month, an official SM Entertainment press release was quick to assure fans that Amber’s continued absence was the result of receiving treatment back in the United States, but some fans remain skeptical.
The apprehension about Amber’s status recently escalated into resentful fury when the September issue of ‘W’ magazine featured only three out of the five f(x) members. f(x) lead vocalist Krystal was quoted as saying, “(T)he members are concentrating on solo activities. We are preparing for a new album, so please look out for us.”
Netizens dissatisfied with SM Entertainment’s continued silence on Amber’s status has left them fearing the worst:  “Did Amber leave f(x)?”
For now, concerned supporters can savor a little drop of comfort. Running into Amber in Los Angeles, a fan timidly asked her if she was returning to Korea soon. Reassuringly, Amber confirmed yes. It’s been said that she is currently enjoying an extended personal vacation back home.  We can only hope to hear from our favorite tomboy soon.

2010 Incheon Korean Music Wave Red Carpet

It’s August 29th, and if you didn’t know, top K-Pop stars will be rocking Incheon tonight for the 2010 Incheon Korean Music Wave.
The concert, which is being held at the Incheon World Cup Stadium, will see a list of top acts like BoA, Se7en, Taeyang, KARA, Supernova, Super Junior, 2PM, SNSD, SG Wannabe, SHINee, U-Kiss, CNBLUE, MBLAQ, BEAST, Son Dambi, and After School. The concert will be hosted once again by the team of Oh Sang Jin, plus Yuri and Tiffany from SNSD.
The organizers expressed, “We hope to make this a long-term annual event, with top stars coming to Incheon and encouraging local and foreign fans to join us for the party. We want to make it be known as a representative K-pop music festival in Asia.”
There was a slight incident for Seungyeon of KARA after she stumbled and fell to the floor while walking away from the photo zone. We hope she’s ok.

BoA wins Mutizen again plus other Inkigayo performances

Last week, BoA and her comeback single Hurricane Venus took home the Mutizen award on Inkigayo. This week, BoA, along with her hoobaes: SHINee (Lucifer), Se7en (Better Together), SECRET (Madonna), Homme (Still Eating Well), Seo In Kook (My Baby U), and DJ DOC (I’m This Kind of Person) were in contention for this week’s Take 7.

F.T. Island brings ‘Love Love Love’ to Inkigayo on their comeback stage

First Music Bank, then Music Core, and now Inkigayo – boy band F.T. Island is now officially back to the music scene with their brand new mind-blowing track, Love Love Love.
